Stefanie Miles

Stefanie is particularly passionate about helping those who are helping others. From faith leaders, humanitarian workers, and medical professionals, to small business owners and those in various areas of service to others, she desires to see her clients flourish and sustain their calling. Her training and experience encompass a spectrum of issues which include:

  • trauma, complex trauma and abuse

  • compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and secondary traumatic stress

  • relational problems and marriage counseling, including high-conflict relationships and betrayal trauma

  • anxiety, depression, codependency and emotional struggles

  • compassionate communication skill-building

  • pastoral care & member care for cross-cultural workers

  • issues of faith, spirituality, and spiritual repair work

  • developing congruency of faith and values in everyday life

  • leadership and management challenges in the workplace

  • premarital and marital counseling assessments

  • issues of grief and loss; complicated grief

Professional counseling is a second career for Stefanie, though she is not new to the field of counseling. She has been studying human behavior and the process of change while walking alongside and mentoring others for nearly two decades. Her previous experience involves twelve years building cross-cultural teams in the hospitality industry, owning a small business for over a decade, working in many countries overseas, serving on two church staffs and with two parachurch ministries.

Stefanie presently lives in Dallas, Texas and enjoys tennis, reading and travel in her personal time.

 

Stefanie is an active participant in ongoing training with the Christian Counseling Education Foundation and the Christian Trauma Healing Network.
